As an Associate with Nelson Financial Group, Darren focuses the majority of his time working with clients on insurance, investments* and financial strategies. He also works to maintain corporate group accounts, and strengthening relationships between clients and insurance carriers.  Darren is also a FINRA member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) in Arizona for 2005 & 2006, a New York Life TAS Agent of the Year, a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and licensed in series 6 and 63 with mutual funds. 

Prior to joining NFG and New York Life, Darren spent 17 years in sales, sales management, and training. Darren has a B.S. in Business Marketing from Oregon State University. 

Darren loves to spend times with his wife and three children hiking, camping, and going to the beach. He is involved with the Boy Scouts of America. In his local church, Darren also leads a Crown Ministries class which focuses on financial budgeting and stewardship.
